Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced, high-energy Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our summer camp kitchens.

This on-site, live-in position runs May through September, 6 days and about 70 hours per week, with competitive pay, a performance bonus, and full room and board.

You will lead prep and production, manage staff, ensure allergen safety, and collaborate with camp leadership to deliver scratch-made meals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, scratch baking, versatile with ingredients, and sharp problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen safety compliance and top Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
