Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural, on-site summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for your shift, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety across high-volume meals.

This on-site, live-in position requires a minimum 6-day/70-hour week and offers competitive pay plus a performance bonus, with full room and board provided for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership and cooking skills; able to navigate I-Pad; sharp problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee all prep and production for designated day part; ensure timely meal service.
• Strict allergen safety compliance and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
