Job summary

URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Buyer to support the Buying team with planning purchases, trend study, samples management, and accurate reporting.

You will help curate a customer-oriented product mix aligned with business goals and liaise with internal teams and vendors. Responsibilities include determining quantities and price points, updating assortment sheets, and using Island Pacific software for order accuracy and basic analyses.

Qualifications

• Fashion or merchandising degree or equivalent experience desired.
• 1 year of experience in a clerical or retail role is preferred.
• Understanding of target customer and ability to select appropriate product/trend.

Responsibilities

• Product assortment: support mix of market and private label products using insights.
• Stay updated on fashion trends and identify emerging trends.
• Sample management including organization and photo logs.
• Data management & reporting: update assortment sheets and analyze item performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure timely orders.
