URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking an Associate Buyer who blends trend forecasting with data-driven decision-making to build a commercially successful assortment. You will collaborate with Buying, Planning, and Design to curate core essentials and viral pieces for the season.

Ideal candidates have 3 years in buying/retail, a fashion merchandising background, and strong analytical skills to drive OTB and profitability. This role is on-site with comprehensive perks and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fashion or merchandising degree or equivalent experience desired.
• 3 years of buying or retail experience preferred.
• Understanding of target customer and ability to select appropriate product/trend.
• Analytical understanding of business metrics (IMU%, MD%, GM%, selloff, WOS, etc.) and the OTB.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ownership and inclusivity in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building a balanced assortment by analyzing customer feedback and market trends.
• Support development of core categories while incorporating fashion newness and test silhouettes.
• Maintain mix of private label and branded products across categories.
• Contribute to monthly shop planning and seasonal line reviews.
• Stay informed on fashion trends and provide input on product selection.
