Job summary

Genesis in Middletown, RI is seeking an Assistant Business Office Manager to support nursing center operations and drive revenue cycle goals. You will assist in census, billing, accounts receivable, Medicaid applications, and other AR tasks while maintaining compliance and accuracy.

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in long term care billing and collection is preferred.
• Additional coursework in accounting/finance is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Support census, billing, accounts receivable, and Medicaid tracking to meet nursing center business goals.
• Report to the Business Office Manager and collaborate with Revenue Cycle Manager.
• Manage patient/resident trust funds and confidential files per state and federal regulations.
• Meet with patients/residents at admission and discharge to explain financial obligations.
