Job summary

RiseMe in Portland, OR is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support daily warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, inventory, and customer service while driving sales. You will supervise branch staff alongside the Branch Manager, ensuring procedures are followed and improvements pursued.

Qualifications

• Fluent computer literacy with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• 2+ years selling in an industrial counter sales environment.
• 2+ years warehouse functions and management experience.
• Able to process POS transactions, quotes and returns.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and hold a valid US driver's license.
• Authorized to work in the US and pass background/drug screening.
• Forklift experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Step into any branch job to support the Branch Manager.
• Handle inventory control, receiving, shipping, customer service, and sales.
• Grow sales within accounts; build relationships with dealers and prospects.
• Maintain standards and implement process improvements.
• Complete end-of-day warehouse tasks and paperwork, UPS manifests.
• Assist customers with information, payments, and pickups/deliveries.
• Support inventory with cycle counts; coordinate with Purchasing.
• Engage with manufacturer reps to resolve product questions.
• Train and supervise branch staff alongside the Branch Manager.
• Ensure safety, confidentiality, and alignment with corporate policies.
• Open/close procedures and maintain equipment inspections.
