Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc.—Greenfield, OH seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in running efficient branch operations and achieving revenue targets. You will oversee warehouse and driver activities, ensure safety and quality standards, and mentor staff to deliver excellent customer service.

Travel up to 25% to regional meetings and sites, with a focus on inventory control, process improvement, and cross-team collaboration to sustain branch growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years in a warehouse, distribution, or supervisory/assistant management role; building materials/related industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, oversee operations, and execute processes efficiently.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass criminal background and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing standards and optimizing branch operations.
• Assist in achieving revenue and profitability targets through sales strategies.
• Lead and develop branch staff, including warehouse personnel, drivers, and inside sales teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate on strategic plans to drive growth and operational excellence.
• Generate and review branch performance reports and metrics.
