Columbia Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Denver to collaborate with the Branch Manager on daily operations, lead tellers, and deliver Breakthrough Client Service. The role involves sales support, client referrals, and maintaining audit-ready operations in a community-focused banking environment.

Requirements include 2 years in retail banking, 1 year in supervisory roles, and knowledge of lending origination; MLO scope applies. Onsite at 4600 S Syracuse St, Denver, CO 80237.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s preferred.
• 2 years of retail banking experience required.
• 1 year of supervisory/management experience preferred.
• 1 year of consumer and small business lending origination experience preferred.
• Customer service background in retail or banking.
• Ability to grow sales by developing long-lasting, knowledge-based relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in handling difficult conversations professionally.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and lead Tellers; may oversee personal bankers with Branch Manager.
• Ensure branch meets operations standards and audits.
• Coach team to deepen customer relationships using Client and Business Financial Review.
• Process and oversee branch transactions and control tasks (opening/closing, wire transfers, overdraft monitoring, etc.).
• Assist in opening new accounts and gathering credit information; act as Bank MLO within scope.
• Build strong relationships in the local community and provide proactive solutions.
