Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience provides required knowledge and skills.
• Thorough knowledge of teller and new accounts functions, bank regulations, policies, and services.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with banking software preferred.
• Ability to operate teller and office equipment including computers, calculators, telephones, printers, and security devices.
• Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; interpret documents and present information.
• Strong sales, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to count cash accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of day-to-day branch operations.
• Assign duties and schedules to ensure efficient operation.
• Oversee teller and vault operations and provide staff training.
• Approve customer transactions and resolve issues for tellers and customers.
• Coach staff on sales skills and generate new customers.
• Conduct regular staff huddles for motivation and performance reviews.
• Support Retail Branch Manager with coaching and salary decisions.
• Assist in personnel administration and hiring decisions.
