Under the branch manager, you will coach staff, manage schedules, balance policies, handle audits, and act as manager on duty when needed; a high school diploma and 2–4 years of retail banking with 1–2 years supervisory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily management of a banking office.
• Achieve personal sales goals and guide sales activities of staff toward branch goals.
• Coach staff on retail incentives and business loans.
• Oversee daily branch operations including overdraft, vault, schedules, opening/closing.
• Ensure branch adheres to audit/compliance requirements.
• Manage customer service levels within the branch.
• Act as manager on duty when the Branch Manager is away.
• May prepare performance appraisals for subordinates.
• Gain understanding of teller functions.
