Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Laurinburg, NC is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to partner with the Branch Manager to drive branch performance, growth, and customer satisfaction. This hands-on leadership role balances sales, coaching, and operational discipline in service of the Woodforest Experience.

You will coach staff, support marketing efforts, manage schedules, and ensure compliance while building community relationships and delivering high-quality service across all channels.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• OR an Associate’s degree and 2 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience;
• OR a Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Branch Manager to operate the branch with a business-owner mindset, supporting retail growth, deposit performance, and customer acquisition.
• Deliver the Woodforest Experience with warmth and professional conversations, resolving customer concerns effectively.
• Coach and support team members to uncover customer needs and confidently recommend banking products and services.
• Ensure compliance with policies, audits, and cash controls while modeling accountability.
