Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Liberty, TX, to help lead daily branch operations and drive customer growth. You will coach frontline staff, execute retail strategies, and uphold Woodforest’s service standards in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will balance customer engagement with operational discipline, support branch goals, and promote a knowledge-sharing culture while ensuring compliance and confidentiality across all activities.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capability; prior supervisory or coaching experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and marketing-oriented sales skills.
• Comfort working in a performance-driven retail banking environment.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Support branch sales, marketing, and customer growth goals.
• Coach and mentor frontline team members in customer-engagement and sales techniques.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality service across teller, platform, and digital interactions.
• Assist with scheduling, workflow management, and coverage planning.
• Perform branch servicing duties as needed (teller, account opening, cash handling).
