Sprouts Farmers Market Assistant Bakery Manager role seeks a candidate to lead Bakery Clerks and assist in daily supervision of Bakery Department operations. The position emphasizes customer service, product quality, and team leadership in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Responsibilities include ordering, inventory controls, merchandise rotation, and ensuring safety and sanitation compliance while supporting the Bakery Manager and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Have outgoing and friendly behavior and a positive attitude with the ability to interact with customers.
• Have good communication skills and ability to take/give direction in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery product.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment.
• Adhere to safety, health, and sanitation guidelines/regulations and ensure others follow them.
• Thrive in a fast paced environment.
