Sprouts Farmers Market in Herndon, VA is hiring an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and support the Bakery Manager in daily operations. You’ll oversee merchandising, inventory controls, quality, displays, and safety while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of retail grocery and 2 years of supervisory experience, are flexible with schedule including nights/weekends/holidays, and possess strong

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to answer phones, take special orders, and perform housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation and building of displays; monitor in-coming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure delivery of excellent customer service and maintain bakery product quality.
• Unload deliveries and operate/maintain deli equipment; adhere to safety guidelines.
