Job Summary
The new Mechatronics Engineering program at the Mitchell School of Engineering at Morgan State University (MSU) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position beginning Fall 2025 Semester. The successful candidate will be expected to teach programs related to mechatronics and have a research agenda including plans to secure outside funding.

Job Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, developing a focused area of research in mechatronics engineering, supervising undergraduate students, and providing service to the University, School, Department, the profession and the community. We seek applicants who will contribute to the research, teaching and service missions of the University. We are particularly interested in applicants with a demonstrated interest in mentoring students form traditionally underrepresented groups.

Required Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate must have a Terminal Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited College or University. Four (4) to Six (6) years of experience in the same or similar role is required.
