Compensation: 55-75k depending on experience

Position Overview

We are partnering with a leading fashion brand to hire creative and detail-oriented Assistant and Associate-level Designers across multiple apparel categories. These roles focus on supporting the design process from concept through execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver trend-right, high-quality products. Candidates will work closely with senior designers and product development teams to ensure alignment with brand vision and market trends. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

We are currently seeking Designers across the following categories:

• Bottoms & Jackets
• Dresses

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of apparel collections across assigned categories, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics
• Conduct trend research and contribute to concept development, including color, print, and fabric selection
• Create detailed technical sketches and CADs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Participate in fittings and provide input on garment construction and design adjustments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, sourcing, and production to meet timelines and quality standards
• Maintain organized design boards, samples, and digital files throughout the design process

Required Experience/Skills

• 1-3 years of fashion design experience within apparel, contemporary, juniors, or related categories
• Strong understanding of customer profiles, market trends, and competitive landscape
• Experience designing and developing categories such as denim, bottoms, outerwear, dresses, tops, or activewear
• Ability to support the full design process including trend research, concept development, sketching, and fittings
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and development processes

Preferred Experience/Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM systems
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple product categories
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and innovative materials

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• Coursework in apparel design, textiles, and garment construction
• Training in CAD software and design technology tools
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical design skills
• Continued education or certifications in trend forecasting or product development is a plus
