Job summary

Atrium is seeking an Associate Designer to support bedding and bath collections from concept through production. You will collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Product Development, Artists, and vendors to develop seasonal collections and keep projects on track.

The role requires 2–5 years in home textiles, strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, and PLM experience. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office is expected; Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop seasonal designs aligned with brand direction and market trends.
• Prepare artwork, presentations, and physical samples for buyer meetings.
• Create art plans, recolors, and design updates as needed.
• Coordinate with artists, vendors, and Product Development teams.
• Maintain accurate product information within PLM systems.
• Review samples, lab dips, and artwork and provide timely feedback.
• Support showroom and market preparation.
• Mentor Junior Designers/Design Assistants as needed.

Client Overview:

Our client is a leading home textiles company specializing in innovative and trend-focused bedding and bath products. They are looking to add an Associate Designer to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$32/hr – $34/hr$70k – $75k upon conversion

Position Overview:

• Experience working with artists, vendors, and Merchandising teams.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Product Development, Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field is preferred.
