Job summary

Greenspring Village at Springfield, a Greenspring Senior Living community, seeks an Assistant Nursing Home Administrator to lead continuing care operations for 287 residents, partnering with clinical and operational leaders to ensure outstanding resident experiences and regulatory compliance.

The role offers a clear growth path toward a Director of Continuing Care; you will oversee nursing, dining, admissions, resident services, therapy recreation, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in long-term care.
• Licensed nursing home administrator required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Knowledgeable in the aging process and the needs of the elderly.
• Demonstrates financial management skills and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to drive occupancy growth across the Continuing Care continuum with residents, families, and referral sources.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for all Continuing Care departments, ensuring an exceptional resident experience.
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets, identifying opportunities for efficiencies while supporting investments.
• Monitor community performance through financial and operational metrics, identifying trends and implementing solutions.
• Foster onboarding, training, and professional development to support resident-centered care and service standards.
• Champion quality assurance and continuous improvement for residents and families.
• Collaborate with leaders to maintain a positive workplace culture and high-quality resident care.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Lead initiatives to drive occupancy growth across the Continuing Care continuum by cultivating relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, discharge planners, social workers, community organizations, and other key referral sources.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for all Continuing Care departments, including nursing, dining services, admissions, resident services, therapeutic recreation, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and administration, ensuring an exceptional resident experience.
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets, identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies while supporting ongoing investments that enhance resident care, services, and the community environment.
• Monitor and evaluate community performance through the review of financial and operational metrics, proactively identifying trends and implementing solutions to achieve quality, service, and financial objectives.
• Foster a culture of excellence by ensuring team members receive comprehensive onboarding, ongoing training, and professional development that supports role effectiveness, resident-centered care, and Erickson Senior Living's service standards.
• Champion a robust quality assurance and continuous improvement program, driving compliance, operational excellence, and exceptional care outcomes for residents and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary leaders to create a positive, engaged workplace culture that supports employee development, retention, and high-quality resident care.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience starting at $110000.00 / year, plus eligibility for annual bonus

What You Will Need

• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in long-term care.
• Licensed nursing home administrator required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Knowledgeable in the aging process and the physical, psychological, and social needs of the elderly.
• Demonstrates financial management skills, business acumen, and familiarity with business practices and principles
