Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living in Springfield, VA invites you to join the OA Program, a one-year immersive operations track designed to grow future leaders across multiple care and business areas.

You will rotate through departments, complete structured learning, and be evaluated quarterly; compensation starts at $55,000 per year with comprehensive benefits and education support to advance your career in senior living.

Qualifications

• Previous work or academic leadership experience; education will be considered in lieu of experience.
• Complete regulatory online Health Stream courses for Continuing Care rotation.
• Experience with seniors, health care, and/or service delivery.
• Willing to travel and relocate; flexible to evolving needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute learning objectives for each business-line rotation under supervision.
• Complete all structured learning, including on-the-job and follow-up.
• Lead roles in each rotation for program and project work.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence related to activities.
• Create an individual career path with program coordination support.
• Attend quarterly peer team calls conducted by Senior HR Managers.
• Attend monthly leadership meetings.

Location: Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living

Jumpstart your career in operations with our Operations Associate (OA) Program—a dynamic, hands-on experience designed to grow future leaders in a vibrant senior living community! This minimum one-year program blends structured learning, special projects, leadership training, and multi-level feedback with real-world exposure across a variety of community departments.

As an OA, you’ll rotate through different business areas, gaining valuable leadership experience while contributing meaningful work that makes a difference in residents’ lives. You’ll take ownership of assignments, meet key learning milestones, and help drive business results along the way. No two days are the same—assignments evolve based on business needs, so adaptability and a willingness to learn are key to your success.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience starting at $55000 per year

How you will make an impact

• With guidance from the Human Resources Director or Department leader, plan and execute all established learning objectives for each business-line rotation.
• Complete all assigned structured learning, including on-the-job, follow-up
• Assume effective program and project leadership roles in each business rotation.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence related to the business activities during each rotation.
• With the OA Program Coordinator, create an individual career path to support professional growth within the organization after completion of the program.
• Attend quarterly peer team calls conducted by Senior HR Managers.
• Attend monthly leadership meetings.

What you will need

• Previous work experience, or academic leadership experience required. Education will be considered in lieu of experience.
• For Continuing Care rotation, must complete regulatory online Health Stream courses and attend the orientation for understanding the Person-Centered Approach to care.
• Experience with seniors, health care, and/or service delivery.
• Breadth of leadership activities while in school with a record of individual and team successes.
• Must be flexible - assignments are subject to change based on the emerging needs of the business.
• Willing to travel.
• Willingness to relocate.
