Qualifications

• Massachusetts Bar eligibility or admission is required or expected.
• At least 3 years of complex litigation experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written advocacy skills.
• Self-motivated with sound judgment and decision making.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in public-interest enforcement work.
• Experience with fraud or the Massachusetts/Federal False Claims Act is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle investigation and litigation of complex matters under the Massachusetts False Claims Act.
• Obtain documents, take testimony via civil investigative demands, interview witnesses, analyze evidence, and draft memoranda.
• Litigation duties include pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and trials when applicable.
• Assess, investigate, and litigate sealed whistleblower or qui tam actions with collaboration from the whistleblower and attorney.
• Coordinate with state, local, and federal authorities as needed.
