Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations governing repossessions.
• Experience collecting delinquent loans and negotiating settlements.
• Experience working with financial institutions and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the repossession process.
• Communicate with members and co-makers about the process and outcomes.
• Prepare documents to initiate repossession and to transfer titles.
• Interact with insurance companies for payoffs and send required letters.
• Direct repossession agents, monitor progress, and handle skip tracing as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain records and generate reports on repossessions and expenses.
