Bass Pro Shops in the United States seeks an Asset Protection Coordinator. This hourly role reports to the Market Asset Protection Manager and focuses on reducing shrink, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees and customers.

You will drive training on shrink, safety and security, cascade directives to store leadership, and perform observations and investigations using data from cycle counts, audits, and exception reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management or related field preferred.
• Licenses or certificates as required by local jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Assists in driving training and continued development for all Outfitters on shrink, safety, and security related functions within a store.
• Cascades directives and initiatives to store leadership and Outfitters as required.
• Demonstrates customer service while observing for suspicious activity on the sales floor.
• Identifies root causes of shrink through analyzing cycle counts, audits, and loss opportunities.
• Uses data to review inventory adjustments and investigate discrepancies.
• Promotes safety programs and maintains security standards on the floor.
• Prepares detailed and accurate reports in a timely manner.
• Assists in investigations into criminal activity, safety incidents, and loss.
