Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator. This hourly role reports to the Market Asset Protection Manager and focuses on protecting assets, ensuring safety, and maintaining compliance across store operations.

The incumbent will analyze shrink, conduct investigations, monitor CCTV/EAS, and support training for outfitters. A high school diploma is required, with higher degrees preferred, and CPR/AED certification is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: associate or bachelor degree in criminal justice, security management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in driving training and development for Outfitters on shrink, safety, and security.
• Communicate directives and initiatives to store leadership and Outfitters.
• Provide exceptional customer service and observe for suspicious activity on the sales floor.
• Identify root causes of shrink via cycle counts, audits, and vendor compliance.
• Review inventory adjustments and ensure accountability; investigate discrepancies.
• Support investigations into criminal activity, policy violations, and safety incidents.
• Assist with firearms compliance investigations and related processes.
• Prepare accurate reports in a timely manner.
• Promote safety programs and participate in safety committees.
