Job summary

Bass Pro Shops seeks an Asset Protection Coordinator to monitor asset protection, security, compliance, and safety across the store. You will frequently be on the sales floor, interact with customers, and lead investigations into loss and policy violations while supporting safety programs.

The role requires knowledge of security systems (CCTV, EAS), strong investigative skills, and a customer-service mindset to educate Outfitters and leadership on best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in security, asset protection, and safety preferred
• Experience conducting investigations (criminal/internal)
• Knowledge of security technologies (CCTV, EAS) and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist in training for shrink, safety, and security functions on the floor
• Identify root causes of shrink via cycle counts and audits
• Conduct known loss investigations and review exception reports
• Monitor security systems and ensure merchandise protection standards
• Support safety programs and incident reporting
• Prepare detailed and accurate reports in a timely manner
