Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking an Asset Protection Agent to support loss reduction, security, and safety across assigned stores. You will detect, investigate, and deter theft, write concise reports, and coordinate with local law enforcement as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma (or equivalent), 2+ years in plainclothes asset protection, basic math skills, and a Washington driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Some college or verifiable advanced security training preferred.
• Prefer at least 2 years of recent plainclothes Asset Protection experience detecting and preventing theft and fraud.
• Must have basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator to determine percentages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders inside and outside the company.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate sound decision making and stay calm under pressure.
• Protect the company from losses due to external and internal causes.
• Utilize CCTV, floor activities, and other tools to deter shoplifters and write timely reports.
