Job description

Position Purpose:

The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store or stores. They utilize various tools to minimize loss, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV footage and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance systems, and promoting a shrink elimination culture within the store. Additional responsibilities include preparing detailed case reports of apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court. The specialist must report hazardous conditions, promote safety, demonstrate integrity, respond to asset protection concerns, and focus on store-specific objectives while supporting operational responsibilities.
