Overview:

Provide 7-Eleven Field Operators with professional asset protection services by conducting timely, comprehensive, accurate investigations and research to preserve revenue and profit enhancement in a proactive manner.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct investigations and research, utilizing corporate reports and Exception Based Reporting.
2. Develop professional, comprehensive cases and research packages that reveal the fraud or misreporting.
3. Take the cases through their completion assuring that the appropriate recoveries, documentation and follow up are completed.
4. Perform the various tasks and assignments required to carry out the Asset Protection Department's Four Pillar Strategy for Revenue and Profit Assurance, Shortage Control, Incident-Investigation Management and the Safety Program.
5. Advise, train and counsel the field operators in shortage control, theft and other asset protection related areas.
6. Establish and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, serving as 7-Eleven's representative to the local municipalities.
7. Assist law enforcement and 7-Eleven's third-party insurance administrator in securing evidence and statements.
8. Provide immediate response, support and professional consultation to field operations following critical incidents of crime or disaster that impact store associates, franchisees, guests, licensees and 7-Eleven assets.

Qualifications:

1. Associates Degree or equivalent experience
2. 5 years retail operations-related experience, multi-unit preferred
3. Thorough understanding of retail Accounting and Financial Management
4. Analytics, reporting management experience is required
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. The ability to successfully train and communicate one-on-one or to a large audience
7. The ability to successfully learn and excel using an Exception Based Reporting Tool
8. Ability to conduct professional investigative interviews
9. 100% remote role
10. Travel – 60-70%
