The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store or multiple stores. Responsibilities include:

1. Identifying incidents of theft and fraud
2. Reviewing CCTV and exception reports
3. Monitoring physical security
4. Auditing Electronic Article Surveillance systems
5. Driving a shrink elimination culture
6. Preparing accurate case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries
7. Preserving evidence and interacting with law enforcement
8. Testifying in court as needed
9. Reporting hazardous or unsafe conditions
10. Minimizing injury risks to staff, vendors, customers, and the company
11. Demonstrating integrity and supporting operational and asset protection concerns
