Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Agent to safeguard customers, employees, and merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will partner with the Emergency Response Team to respond to incidents and conduct investigations while maintaining safety and confidentiality across store operations. You will use video surveillance and RFID data to monitor activity, identify trends, and support internal investigations.

Qualifications

• Valid security license in applicable locations where required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Resolve theft using policy and lead quality apprehensions.
• Identify theft trends via technology and surveillance.
• Support shrinkage reduction through action plans and standards.
• Investigate internal theft by gathering evidence and coordinating with AP Leadership.
• Prepare and submit incident reports and testify when required.
• Collaborate with store leaders and local law enforcement.
