Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a dedicated Asset Protection Leader to prevent losses in our distribution and warehouse operations. You will identify theft, review CCTV, and implement safety and shrink-elimination measures across assigned locations.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in investigations, and proficiency with security and warehouse systems to drive a culture of safety and profitability.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline; 2–5 years in a related field, or MS/MA with 2–4 years.
• Certification is required in some areas.
• Experience in asset protection, loss prevention, and safety within distribution/supply environments.
• OSHA compliance, risk assessments, and hazard mitigation experience.
• Investigations and corrective action management experience.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and security/warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Gathers information during incident reviews and ensures corrective action implementation.
• Drives safety and security by communicating asset protection strategies and initiatives.
• Initiates, conducts, and closes internal and external investigations per policies.
• Ensures asset protection activities comply with local/state regulations and internal guidelines.
• Facilitates safety meetings and maintains safety committee tasks.
• Performs inspections and ensures abatement and corrective actions are completed.
• Develops shrink/theft awareness programs and flags unusual activity.
