Job summary

HD Supply is seeking an Asset Protection professional to prevent financial loss due to theft and fraud across assigned locations. You will identify incidents, review CCTV, monitor safety, and drive a culture of shrink elimination.

You will conduct internal and external investigations per company policies, facilitate safety meetings, and lead asset protection programs to safeguard associates and assets. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline; typically required.
• 2-5 years in asset protection or related field (or MS/MA with 2-4 years).
• Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Gathers information during incident reviews and ensures corrective actions.
• Drives safety and shrink elimination by implementing asset protection programs and strategies.
• Initiates, conducts, and closes investigations in line with policies.
• Ensures asset protection activities comply with laws and internal guidelines.
• Facilitates safety meetings and ensures timely completion of safety tasks.
• Performs routine hazard, EH&S inspections and ensures corrective actions are taken.
• Develops shrink and theft awareness programs and flags unusual activity.
