Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a dedicated Asset Protection Specialist to assist the DC Asset Protection Manager with audits, safety compliance, and investigations across the distribution network. The role involves coordinating with security personnel, monitoring CCTV systems, and supporting training to drive safer, more compliant operations.

Key duties include conducting monthly audits, reviewing incident trends, and participating in regulatory interactions.

Qualifications

• Must have basic to advanced working knowledge of safety and security practices.
• Experience with audits, investigations and regulatory compliance preferred.
• Proven ability to communicate findings effectively to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist AP Manager with monthly audits to reduce shrink and improve safety compliance.
• Support regulatory investigations ( OSHA, EPA, state/federal agencies).
• Coordinate with site guards and ensure CCTV and access controls are functioning.
• Lead audit processes and develop action plans to correct deficiencies.
• Assist in training auditors and exposing best practices to reduce risk.
