Job summary

HD Supply is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to prevent financial loss across assigned locations by identifying theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and reports, and driving a culture of safety and shrink elimination. The role focuses on implementing protection programs, investigations, and regulatory compliance.

The position requires BS/BA (MS/MA preferred) with 2–5 years in related fields, travel up to 50%+, and a strong data-analysis mindset to support actionable safety decisions.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline; MS/MA optional with related experience.
• 2–5 years in a related field (or MS/MA with 2–4 years).
• Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Gathers information during incident reviews and ensures corrective action.
• Drives safety and shrink elimination by asset protection programs and strategies.
• Initiates, conducts, and closes investigations in compliance with policies.
• Ensures asset protection activities comply with local/state regulations and internal guidelines.
• Facilitates safety meetings and ensures tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Performs inspections for safety, EH&S compliance, and corrective actions.
• Manages shrink and theft awareness programs and reports unusual activity.
