Nordstrom is seeking an Asset Protection Agent to safeguard customers, employees and merchandise. You will work with the store Emergency Response Team to respond to incidents, investigate theft, and maintain safety standards across the store.

This role requires a valid security license in select locations, strong judgment, clear verbal and written communication, confidentiality, and the ability to act calmly under pressure. A flexible schedule and prior asset protection experience are preferred.

Mansioni

• Resolve theft using sound judgment and compliant apprehensions in high shrinkage areas.
• Identify theft trends via technology, reporting, and surveillance tactics.
• Drive shrinkage reduction by implementing action plans and merchandise protection standards.
• Support internal theft investigations through various methods including exception reports and surveillance.
• Investigate internal theft with AP Leadership and Investigation teams.
• Use video systems to monitor theft activity and assist investigations.
• Leverage RFID data to track merchandise movement and aid item-level investigations.
• Maintain safety and security of customers and staff; respond to incidents and report them.
• Lead security audits, participate in store meetings, and drive shrinkage awareness and training.
• Serve on the store Emergency Response Team and participate in training including first aid.
• Prepare and submit prompt reports for high-profile incidents, recoveries, investigations, violations, and safety events.
• Testify in court when summoned; build cross-functional partnerships with store leadership and local law enforcement.
