Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Agent to safeguard customers, teams and assets. Partner with the Emergency Response Team to respond to incidents, investigate, and support shrinkage reduction while following policy and AP leadership guidance.

Responsibilities include resolving theft, using surveillance and RFID data to trace merchandise, preparing reports, and testifying when required. A valid security license is required for select locations.

Qualifications

• A valid security license is required in select locations.
• Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment with good judgment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must meet state and local licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Resolve theft by using good judgment and conduct quality apprehensions.
• Identify theft trends using surveillance, reporting, and RFID data.
• Drive shrinkage reduction through action plans and merchandise protection standards.
• Prepare and submit incident reports and testify in court when summoned.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with store leaders, neighboring retailers, and local law enforcement.
