Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Fort Mill, SC is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to oversee security, safety, and compliance in the store. The role is hourly and reports to the Market Asset Protection Manager to reduce shrink and ensure inventory accuracy.

You will train Outfitters on shrink and safety, monitor compliance with directives, and interact with customers while promoting a safe work environment and strong asset protection practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred Degree: Associate or Bachelor in Criminal Justice, Security Management or related field.
• Certificate(s) or License(s): As required by local jurisdiction.
• Years of experience: Security, asset protection, and safety preferred or retail inventory background.

Responsibilities

• Assists in training Outfitters on shrink, safety and security functions.
• Cascades Asset Protection directives to store leadership and Outfitters as required.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service on the sales floor when needed.
• Identifies root causes of shrink by analyzing cycle counts and audits.
• Reviews inventory adjustments and investigates discrepancies with DC and store.
