Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Asset Protection to lead store AP teams, drive shrink reduction, and ensure safety and compliance.

You will partner with cross-functional store leaders, manage recruitment and development, and oversee budgeting related to AP initiatives. Responsibilities include owning building security, educating on emergency preparedness, and leveraging data to identify trends and mitigate theft while maximizing profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in asset protection or security leadership
• Strong ability to develop relationships with store leadership
• Experience with reporting tools and case management software
• Excellent communication and decision-making under pressure

Responsibilities

• Lead AP strategy execution in the store, aligned with division goals
• Build relationships with Store Manager, HR, Inventory, and Service Experience
• Own building security and safety; educate on emergency preparedness
• Monitor AP incidents and ensure proper reporting and documentation
• Use data to identify trends and mitigate theft; drive shrink reduction
• Lead shrink program execution and investigations; develop talent
