Job summary

Nordstrom is hiring a Manager of Asset Protection to lead AP teams, drive shrink reduction, and ensure safety and security across the store. You will partner with store leadership to implement protection strategies and uphold company values.

The role requires strong investigative and leadership skills, with the ability to manage budgets, build relationships, and leverage data to prevent loss in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in investigative asset protection and security procedures.
• Prior AP leadership experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to develop relationships with store leadership and HR.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP teams in store, including recruiting, development and budgeting.
• Execute shrink reduction strategy and monitor incidents.
• Partner with Store Manager and leaders to support AP initiatives.
• Own building security and employee safety, and educate on emergencies.
• Identify theft trends via data and communicate findings.
• Lead shrink program execution and detection of theft/dishonesty.
• Develop talent for investigations, auditing and system controls.
• Use reporting to mitigate risks and maximize profitability.
