Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manager of Asset Protection to supervise AP teams, recruit and develop staff, and manage budgets within a store environment. The role partners with cross-functional leaders to advance profitable loss prevention and safety initiatives.

The ideal candidate will lead investigations, leverage data to identify theft trends, and ensure compliance with state requirements while maintaining exceptional store standards and service.

Qualifications

• Proven success in investigative asset protection and security leadership.
• Strong ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with store leaders and employees.
• Experience using exception based reporting tools and case management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and execute the AP strategy across the store.
• Cultivate relationships with store leadership and HR to address shrink and safety topics.
• Own building security and safety; educate on emergency preparedness and incidents.
• Monitor AP reports and ensure proper documentation of incidents and cases.
• Use data to identify trends and reduce internal and external theft.
• Lead shrink program execution and investigations to reduce loss.
