Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Asset Protection to supervise AP teams across the store. You will oversee recruitment, development, performance, and budgeting, and execute the company shrinkage reduction strategy to protect people and profits.

You will partner with store leaders to support the retail AP function, lead investigations, and drive data-driven loss prevention initiatives while maintaining Nordstrom's values and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven success in investigative, asset protection and security procedures.
• Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with store leadership and employees.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving in high-stress environments.
• Experience with Exception Based Reporting tools and Case Management Software.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and execute the organizational strategy set by the AP Division.
• Develop relationships with Store Manager, Service Experience, Inventory Accuracy and HR to lead shrink-reduction initiatives.
• Oversee building security and safety, educate on emergency preparedness, and assist in safety incidents.
• Monitor and communicate AP reports to ensure proper documentation of incidents and cases.
• Drive shrink reduction plans and detect theft and dishonesty while maximizing profitability.
• Hire and develop talent for investigations, auditing, shortage reduction, and AP awareness programs.
