Job summary

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to support the CHCQ Asset Management Program and enforce asset standards. This role reports to the Supervisor I in the Business Services Unit and coordinates inventory, tagging procedures, retention policies, and the surplus process across state offices; teleworking may be available per policy.

Salary ranges shown reflect state pay scales and are subject to PLP 2025 adjustments; position is in Sacramento

Responsibilities

• Oversee CHCQ asset management requirements and standards.
• Prepare documents and reports for senior management approval.
• Create and update CHCQ Equipment Inventory and Asset Tagging procedures.
• Monitor and report stolen, lost, or destroyed assets to CHP per SAM/PHAM.
• Oversee CHCQ Records Retention Policies and provide guidance to field offices.
• Coordinate the surplus process for CHCQ equipment and assist safety audits.
