Job summary

California Department of Public Health (CDPH) seeks a Grants Analyst to support the Center for Laboratory Sciences with grant management, ensuring fiscal responsibility and timely delivery of public health laboratory services. The Analyst II will use analytical methods to resolve complex problems and advise CLS leadership on CDC grants and opportunities.

The role reports to the Supervisor II, Fiscal & Grants Management, in a hybrid work setting across Contra Costa County, with a monthly salary

• Analyze grant data and present milestones effectively.
• Advise CLS leadership on current CDC grants and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform grant management and administrative support for the Center for Laboratory Sciences (CLS).
• Use a wide variety of analytical techniques to resolve complex problems and evaluate alternatives.
• Prepare oral and written analyses, consult with CLS leadership and administrators on grants and opportunities.
