Job summary

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) seeks a Fiscal and Contract Services Specialist in Sacramento. This permanent, full-time role focuses on fiscal determinations, contracts, and reporting to support CDPH programs and COPAC obligations.

Responsibilities

• Promote health and wellness and improve state health outcomes by advancing protective measures and reducing risks.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, analytical defensibility, and timely execution of fiscal determinations and work products.
• Represent CDPH in meetings regarding fiscal matters and identify risks while applying appropriate analytical approaches.
• Support CDPH fiscal decisions, obligations, and resource requests through Financial Management Division’s Budget processes.
• Work under the supervision of the Supervisor II of the Food and Drug Branch, Financial Operations and Program Support Section.
