Questar III BOCES is seeking an Asset Management Technician to manage fixed asset inventories across district clients and maintain an accurate digital database. The role involves field work at multiple sites, regular communication with staff and vendors, and adherence to state reporting and internal controls.

Ideal candidates will have strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic inventory software.
• Ability to transcribe long alphanumeric serial numbers accurately.
• Willingness to lift up to 30 lbs and travel for inventory.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain fixed asset inventory records.
• Performs physical inventories of supplies, equipment, and fixed assets.
• Prepares and maintains manual and electronic fixed asset records and reports.
• Uses fixed asset software to acknowledge receipt and tag assets.
• Communicate with vendors, staff, and supervisors to ensure efficient asset inventory.
• Meet regularly with the Team Leader to review progress and recommend improvements.
• Completes other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
