Job summary

Peterson Technology Partners (PTP) is seeking an Asset Management Specialist in Houston, TX to support capital project closeouts, capital spares, and M&S inventory processes, ensuring asset and inventory records are accurate across the lifecycle.

This 12-month contract offers hybrid work (3 days on site) and requires 3–8 years of relevant experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and the ability to analyze technical and financial data to determine asset or inventory treatment.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of relevant experience in asset management or inventory control.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze technical, operational, and financial information to determine asset or inventory treatment.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required.

Responsibilities

• Review project closeout files and asset listings for completeness and accuracy.
• Support asset records in JDE and EAM systems and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Property Accounting to move costs into fixed asset records.
• Promote standardized asset management processes and data quality.
