Job summary

Buckeye Partners is seeking a Specialist, Asset Management in Houston, TX for a 6-8 month engagement. The role focuses on asset lifecycle records, capital projects closeouts, and M&S inventory, with hybrid work in a hybrid schedule (in-office Tue/Wed/Thu).

The candidate will maintain records in JDE/EAM, resolve discrepancies across departments, and contribute to process improvements in asset management and inventory control. A related Bachelor’s degree and JD Edwards familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, finance, accounting, engineering or related field.
• Oil & gas, energy, construction, asset management or inventory experience preferred.
• Experience with JD Edwards preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Understanding of asset management, fixed assets and inventory processes preferred.
• Ability to analyze data, reconcile records and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Review project closeout files, asset listings and equipment information for accuracy.
• Support creation, modification and retirement of asset records in JDE/EAM.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in assets and project documentation.
• Coordinate CWIP to fixed-asset transitions with Property Accounting.
• Support standardization of project closeout and asset management processes.
• Assist with capital spares and M&S inventory management and reconciliations.
