Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson seeks an Asset Management Specialist to support asset management solutions for government and infrastructure clients. You will collaborate with clients, project teams, and senior leaders to manage complex initiatives and deliver data-driven insights.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and applying best practices in asset lifecycle across water, transportation, and facilities projects. Hybrid work in Herndon, VA is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience managing asset management initiatives across complex programs.
• Ability to engage stakeholders, gather requirements, and drive solutions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leaders.
• Proficiency with Excel and related data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Support asset management plans, lifecycle strategies, and related solutions across infrastructure sectors.
• Lead client engagement sessions, interviews, workshops, and requirements gathering.
• Provide PM support for asset management initiatives across multidisciplinary teams.
• Document, validate, and manage requirements, workflows, and system enhancements.
• Analyze asset data using Excel to identify trends and insights for decision-making.
• Support data governance, asset hierarchy development, inventory management, dashboards, and reporting.
• Advise on asset management best practices, lifecycle principles, and performance improvement opportunities.
• Support initiatives across horizontal and vertical infrastructure (water, transportation, facilities).
• Collaborate with PMs, data engineers, developers, SMEs, and client teams to deliver solutions.
• Prepare technical docs, presentations, and client-facing materials.
