Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. in Austin seeks an experienced Credit Administrator - Asset Based Lending (ABL) to lead a team of Portfolio Managers and Credit Analysts.

You will drive consistent underwriting, monitor risk, and ensure adherence to credit policies while supporting portfolio growth and staff development. The role requires deep ABL underwriting and portfolio-management experience, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with regional leaders to optimize loan reviews,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 8+ years in ABL underwriting and portfolio management with commercial credit analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
• Experience with Solifi/Stucky, Salesforce.com and nCino Bank Operating System preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PMs and Credit Analysts in ABL underwriting and pipeline management.
• Monitor portfolio performance, renewals, modifications, and covenant testing.
• Coach PMs and review portfolio with leadership to ensure policy compliance.
• Ensure adherence to loan policies and underwriting standards across the team.
• Conduct annual training to align with underwriting standards and regulatory requirements.
