Job summary

University of Colorado Boulder is seeking an Asset Accounting Manager to oversee capital asset lifecycle management, asset tagging, and repository integrity within the Campus Controller's Office. You will coordinate with campus partners to ensure correct accounting practices and fiscal reporting, including training staff on PSAM data entry.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, five years of asset management experience, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or asset related field.
• Five years of accounting experience, including asset management accounting or budgeting experience.
• Strong Excel skills and previous supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage the capital asset process by reviewing purchase orders, journal entries and information from campus partners.
• Enter a large volume of capital assets into PSAM each month.
• Manage tagging and replacement of capital equipment for campus partners within current and new processes.
• Oversee the Gift-in-kind process.
• Reconcile capital accounts and review non-capital expense accounts for proper accounting.
