Job summary

The University of Colorado Boulder Campus Controller's Office is seeking an Asset Accounting Manager to oversee capital equipment accounting, tagging, and inventory processes. You will lead a team and coordinate with campus partners to ensure accurate asset data in PSAM, ensuring proper accounting, policy adherence, and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities include managing asset entries, fabrications, and equipment tagging, while collaborating with Financial Services and campus partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or asset related field.
• Five years of accounting experience, including asset management accounting or budgeting experience with strong Excel skills and previous supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage the collection of capital equipment by reviewing purchase orders, journal entries and information from campus partners.
• Execute and manage the entry of a large volume of capital assets into PSAM each month.
• Manage the new and replacement of capital equipment tags for campus partners within the current and new process.
• Execute and manage the Gift-in-kind process.
• Manage the reconciliation of capital accounts.
• Review of non-capital expense accounts to ensure proper accounting assignment.
